Katie is experienced in the areas of family law, real estate and civil litigation.   She provides personal, responsive and diligent service to her clients in family disputes, antenuptial and postnuptial agreements, simple and complex divorce, modification matters and child custody matters.  Katie is committed to assisting families in resolving their personal matters efficiently and professionally, whether though litigation or negotiated settlement.  While ready and willing to litigate, Katie is mindful of other cost-effective alternatives, including mediation.  She is committed to diligently working with clients to develop strategies that resolve conflict in difficult circumstances.

Katie’s other areas of practice focus on real estate and civil litigation.  Her experience includes real estate closings, foreclosure, eviction matters, landlord-tenant disputes, construction litigation and appellate work.  Katie recently assisted in obtaining a multi-million-dollar judgment, including attorney’s fees and costs, in a construction defect case that was upheld on appeal by the Florida First District Court of Appeal.  

Katie was born and raised in northeast Florida.  She received her undergraduate degree (with high honors) from Flagler College and law degree (with honors) from the University of Florida.  While not in the office, Katie and her husband, Chris, enjoy time with their two dogs, Millie and Sherman, traveling, boating, the beach and spending time with family and friends.
